Low-cost seismic design housing for EWR of 50sqm & a budget of Rs. 1.5 lacs each for 200 families as permanent rehabilitation after the Kutch earthquake was planned with a community centre, creche & temple within the site. On a nearby site, a higher secondary school of 2400 sqm using as many local materials and renewable technology as possible, is proposed.
